Education & Credentials Chandra has completed many trainings, including Internal institutional training at YSPH for bias, DEI lecture series, webinars (Urban Trauma, Reproductive Justice, Decentering Institutional Whiteness, Neocolonialism & Global Health).
Work Highlights She has worked with governing bodies of an organization and staff/key personnel or volunteers within an organization. She has served and partnered with various populations, including Asian or Asian American, White/Caucasian, and Black/African Americans.
Professional Summary Chandra has partnered within her department to develop accountability metrics for strategic planning and department missions and values statements, including the development and application of a hiring process that encompasses equity and reduces bias. She has consulted for local efforts to increase health outcomes and supports for POC moms to support community decision making, representation, training, and accountability within the group. For the state coalition, she advised as a temporary chair of an Equity committee to implement diversity measures, develop equity core values condemning racism and recognizing its role persistent disparities in breastfeeding rates, which she also teaches.
