Ismatu serves as an equity evaluator, facilitator, mentor, and speaker. She has additional experience as a reverend in a multicultural church where she oversaw teams and projects, including a social justice program for youths. She provides services to the Southwest region through online and in-person formats.
Education & Credentials Ismatu has a certificate in Intergroup Relations and BA in Africana Studies.

Professional Summary Following graduation, Ismatu was involved with the New York City Urban Project and was the Children’s Church Director for a multiracial church that created safe spaces for all students to feel included and valued. Ismatu has continued training, educating, and discussing issues of diversity in her subsequent endeavors, and is now a member of two committees: Inclusive Committee at Global Academy of Phoenix and the Parental Advisory Committee at Peoria Unified District Family Resource Center.
Lived Experience Ismatu is a passionate diversity and equity champion. While obtaining her education, she created open dialogue with other students, and became fascinated with broadening her understanding of race and justice.
