She has served and partnered with various populations, including Asian or Asian American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Hispanic or LatinX, Middle Eastern or North African, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, White/Caucasian, Black/African American, Immigrants, and LGBTQIA2S+.
Professional Summary Anna has extensive experience training, organizing, and catalyzing professionals and organizations in the lactation field, specifically in the area of DEI that focuses on folks with diverse and marginalized gender and sexual identities. She served as the Leader of the DEI department for La Leche League of Minnesota and the Dakotas for two years, during which she trained LLL Leaders in equity practices, spoke at regional conferences, and consulted in the creation and overhaul of training materials through an equity lens. Her current role is a Lactation Specialist at a WIC office. She also acts as a consultant in training and educational materials related to breast-chestfeeding for her regional DOH. Her previous positions include an equity consultant for the Minnesota Breastfeeding Coalition and a Lactation Counselor for the Queer Birth Project.
