Mona serves as an equity consultant, evaluator, facilitator, speaker, and trainer. She provides services to the Mid-Atlantic region through in-person and hybrid formats.
Education & Credentials Mona has completed many trainings in DEI areas, White Men of Full Diversity training & facilitation, Reproductive Justice Training, Cultural Competence Training through, Nemours Office of Health Equity & Inclusion First Food, and was part of a Racial Equity Cohort with the Center for Social Inclusion.
Work Highlights She has worked with governing bodies of an organization, individuals who oversee operations of teams, community stakeholders, and staff/key personnel or volunteers within an organization. She has served and partnered with various populations, including Asian or Asian American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Hispanic or LatinX, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, White/Caucasian, Black/African American, immigrants, and LGBTQIA2S+.
Professional Summary Mona has provided education, training and TA in a variety of settings surrounding the topics of inclusion, diversity and equity. The discussions and trainings she leads have been provided to all clinicians, not just those in the breastfeeding field. She is passionate about including racial equity, ability and LGBTQIA+ when discussing health equity. She has engaged with organizations to mobilize their efforts to meet their internal needs and their communities wants and needs and doing so in an authentic way.
